So now you have a diagnosis of ADHD – now what?
We offer post-diagnosis support for children, teens and adults. If medication is chosen to help, it is only part of the solution. Generally, people with ADHD require routines and strategy to help them with the problems that having ADHD can cause like anxiety, low self esteem, emotion regulation problems, rejection sensitivity, sleep and struggling to keep organised amongst others.
We offer:
- Mental health support for adults and children
- Practical strategies for adults and children (and for their parents)
- Occupational Therapy for children and young people to help with their regulation and any sensory issues
- Social skills support for children and young people
- For children and teens we can offer strategies for school
At Cherrycroft, we create bespoke packages of support based on what children and young people are most likely to benefit from. This is usually done after an initial assessment with a Clinical Psychologist.
