Difficulties we don’t work with:
We believe it’s important to be upfront about the difficulties that our clinic is not suited to work with. The problems that we don’t work with include active suicidal thoughts and plans, domestic violence, personality disorders, active psychotic experiences, parental alienation, difficulties that are actively being investigated by the Police or are involved in the court processes. These sorts of difficulties are best held in teams like Community Mental Health Teams or Adult Mental Health teams in NHS or appropriate Social Care team.

About Me & My Approach
With over a decade of experience in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), I have spent much of my career supporting children, young people, and families. While my focus has primarily been on family work, I have also worked with adults.
At Cherrycroft, we have been a trusted part of the community for many years. As the demand for mental health support grows, I am committed to expanding our services to better meet the needs of individuals across all ages.
I specialize in relationships—both with ourselves and others—and have extensive experience in attachment theory and its impact across the lifespan. Over the years, I have also developed a strong interest in working with ADHD and Autism (ASD), helping individuals harness their strengths while addressing the practical challenges these conditions can bring, such as planning, organization, and emotional regulation.
My work with adopted individuals and families has been a core part of my practice. For adult adoptees, having a space to explore their experiences with someone who truly understands adoption-related complexities can be incredibly affirming. Sadly, some adoptive families experience adoption breakdowns, leaving parents to navigate profound feelings of grief, guilt, and uncertainty. We offer a compassionate, supportive space to help individuals and families on their healing journey.
I offer face-to-face sessions and some online appointments, depending on individual needs.
